Ever thought of working with a group of international people joining our Florence base for short periods (around 3 months), facilitating their time and helping them to grow personally and spiritually while they are with us? If so, this is a great opportunity for you!
1. Short Term Teams
Facilitate and Coordinate the Short Term Exposure program (STEP) and time of Logos Hope team members in order to ensure participants have the opportunity to grow personally and spiritually through their service with OMSI.
Provide administrative support for the STEP program in order to ensure effective preparation and the ability to engage participants in partnering with missions further.
3. Recruit and Promote
Promote and recruit the STEP opportunities in order to ensure OM offices become increasingly aware of them and confident in sending applicants to Florence.
Approachable and able to relate to a wide variety of people
Ability to counsel and disciple people
Ability to manage details and coordinate schedules
English proficiency (spoken & written)
“God’s really changed me,” Laura says. “As He sets free others, He works as well in me because I’ve gained a lot of freedom in my life.”
Matt uses his skills behind the scenes in personnel, helping others get where God wants them to go.
Loving our Muslim neighbours is an opportunity and privilege.
“As I’ve stood in long immigration lines at airports or experienced lengthy delays, I’ve caught myself thinking about the impact of my attitude,” shared OMer Nicole. “When I’m impatient and annoyed, that’s what the people around me see—that’s how I’m representing my life as a Jesus follower.”
