English School Australia (21-Mar-2007) The Korean Oceania Team has started an English school for migrants in the northern suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Six Korean team members attend the classes with the aim of building relationships and inviting participants to a Café outreach which runs each Thursday evening.

Taking TEA in New Zealand New Zealand (2-Feb-2006) Seven people are taking part in OM New Zealand's Training, Evangelism and Adventure programme (TEA) 4 February - 13 April, 2006. The three men and four women from the UK, USA, Switzerland and Germany will start with several days hiking in the 'bush' followed by intensive evangelism training which focuses on building confidence in sharing the Gospel.
"World Champions" - A Creative Initiative for Children from the Lord of the Rings Country New Zealand (1-Jun-2005) They’re all stars of the show in WORLD CHAMPIONS!--A children’s programme that is taking New Zealand by storm! Last year, Operation Mobilisation New Zealand's Shirley Booth, a qualified primary school teacher, decided to put together a monthly newsletter to encourage and challenge Christian children to get involved in God’s world. “World Champions” was born. Now, hundreds of children around the country get a new issue each month, complete with country information, games, a memory verse, and ideas on how they can be World Champions through “Praying, Giving and Going for it!”
KIDS GAMES IN SYDNEY Australia (26-Jul-2004) Children in seven different suburbs of Sydney, Australia took part in a KidsGames event. The youngsters competed in a range of sports and also learnt about Jesus. At one site, 35 children took part in the games and workers had many opportunities to share the Gospel. One worker wrote, “For me, the highlight of the week was when a girl in my small group responded after I told them that God loves them. ‘No one has ever told me that God loves me,’ she said.” For the closing ceremony around 200 children from across the city came together along with their parents and leaders. The children marched behind banners they had made during the week and took part in the sports finals. Some groups presented drama, dances and songs that they had prepared and the Gospel message was presented clearly. Pray for the follow up of these children and their parents. PRAY FOR PAPUA NEW GUINEA Papua New Guinea (19-Apr-2004) OM PNG is leading a series of Radio programmes to pray for the nation of Papua New Guinea this week. Every morning, from 7.30am the team will be broadcast live on air giving a short devotional followed by a time of prayer. OM Papua New Guinea leader Kini Kila writes, “We are asking you as friends and supporters of OM PNG to join us during this time of prayer for our nation and to remember us as we go live on air.” |
