Ministry Details
You will paint and install a playground, and most likely also do a children's program, with games, bible stories, songs and more.

Participant Profile
Are you open to make your hands dirty and invest in the life of children? Come and join us!

Accommodation: OM centre and with local families in the villages

Food: provided

Travel: Must arrange own travel to and from Chisinau Moldova. (Airport Code Chisinau = KIV)

How to find us: Participants will be picked up at the airport, train or bus station.

Health: Should be generally in good health.

Visa: Citizens from EU, USA, Canada and Switzerland do not need a visa. Other please check with the Moldovan Embassy. If you need an invitation we need to apply for it at least 2 month

One month ago a new Elderly Care Project started in Mateuti. It is the first centre to be open to the elderly throughout the year. Around 20 elderly people now receive a hot meal five days a week. Mr Sasha and Mr Ion are two elderly men to benefit from this programme.

OM Moldova currently supports 9 Day Centres throughout Moldova. The children who come to the Day Centre are from poor families. Most of them have many brothers and sisters. While some children live with only one parent, others sadly live on the street.

For Magdalena, sports is a passion, especially soccer. In collaboration with soccer coaches from England, OMers Andrei and Slavic offered soccer training to local soccer coaches from the village, and Magdalena shares about their time together.

After a period of no Americans on our team, a real American lady joined our team for three months. It was not easy for her to learn the language, to get a grip on the culture and to be the only American in the team, but at the end of her three months, she sensed God was calling her back to Moldova for a longer time.
