Building Project Manager: Angola
Do you enjoy a challenge? We are looking for someone with experience in construction to co-ordinate our building project in Menongue.
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Commitment Length: 1-2 years (full time)
The applicant would need to do one of the OM Discipleship Programmes - either in South Africa or Zambia - before proceeding to Angola.
A background in construction in a rural environment is highly recommended, though not a requirement
The applicant should be able to speak Portuguese at least moderately well.
Please note: all jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.

Bibles in Kangela (30-Nov-2009) Joan, an OMer serving in Angola, was burdened for the local chruches to have Sunday School materials in their own language. She began to train people to be leaders to present the materials to adults in their chruches. Now she is seeing great fruit as they take what they've learned to others.
Out of the Mud (28-Apr-2009) Armando asks for help at the OM base after getting his car stuck in the mud, an event that introduces him to God's love.
Lost and Found (18-Feb-2008) A local pastor was stabbed as he looked after the OM base in Meongue, Angola.
More than English lessons (6-Feb-2006) A Christian youth club in Angola has grown from nine to 80 members since August 2005. Angola is a Portuguese speaking country, but many people are learning English. A small group of young people asked the OM workers to help them practice English.
