Home School Teacher: Angola

Do you have an adventurous spirit and a passion for teaching?  Tiago (14) would love to have you as his 'home school' teacher!

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Commitment Length: 1-2 years (full time)

The applicant would need to do one of the OM Discipleship Programmes - either in South Africa or Zambia - before proceeding to Angola.

Experience in teaching all subjects from maths and science to languages and arts at high school level.

A background in 'home schooling' would be an added advantage, but not a requirement.

The curriculum being used is Accelerated Christian Education Home
School program.  There is plenty of room for initiative and practical application.

You should be prepared to learn some Portuguese, since this is the main language of communication in Angola.

Please note: all jobs/opportunities on this site are unsalaried. Most people joining OM have to raise financial support to cover their living expenses, usually through gifts from home churches and other supporters.
