We want to see Belgium celebrate Jesus and mobilize you to help us do it! Come dedicate your Easter weekend to learning more about the lasting impact of Christ's resurrection and share the joy with Belgians! Are you a musician wondering how to use your skills in missions? Do you want to join in with what God is doing in Europe? Join us for a four-day campaign in Belgium as we learn how to share the Gospel in post-modern Europe and put our theories into action. Vital is an event to challenge, equip, and propel you to share Jesus in Belgium and beyond.
Available for: Singles Couples Groups
During the four-day campaign, conference sessions will be held during the mornings and evenings and we will do outreach during the day. Musicians will be working together to create street music that is improvisatory, interactive and communal. Through this we will make new friendships with the hope of sharing faith.
Are you a competent, adaptable musician who wants to explore how to use your skills in missions? Do you enjoy the creative process, collaborating with other musicians to make something entirely new? Do you play an instrument that is easily transportable and doesn't require amplification? We want people who are hungry to know God more and who are ready to get a first taste at missions. Our program is designed to engage 18-25 year olds, but we will accept people of all ages.
Participants will sleep at our hospitality center or in houses of local believers. Those who are able to find their own, separate accommodation will get a 25 euro discount on registration fees. Separate housing must be communicated and approved by OM Belgium and less than 30 minutes away (we’ll expect you to arrive around 9 each morning and stay until 10:30 in the evening).
We will provide breakfast, one hot meal, and one bread meal during the campaign. We should be able to accommodate special diets, but needs must be communicated at time of registration.
You must make your way to the Zav Centre, which is accessible from Brussels airport by bus, train, or foot. Plan to arrive by 5 PM on Friday, April 10 and leave the conference by noon on April 13. You can also take a bus or train from Brussels.
Please See "Travel".
Participants should be in reasonably good health and be able to be on their feet for hours at a time
