Visjon is the annual summer family camp that is committed to inspire and renew Norwegian Free Church members of all ages.The camp combines recreation and fellowship, and offers a varied program that includes large family gatherings, concerts, and other activities. One of the hallmarks of Visjon is that families can get together and know that there will be high quality activities for all ages.

Visjon's children's program, UngVisjon, has become one of the summer's highlights for the kids. Its goal is to "build open communities where children and adolescents are seen, meet Jesus and are equipped to live as his followers." The program provides a wide range of exciting, engaging and fun activities. You will help program leaders with activities for the children. You may also help with sales and service in the café/kiosk/grill, and other practical jobs.
Have faith in Jesus, love children and youth, speak and understand the English language.
Participants will sleep on mattresses on the floor in a classroom, or in tents, if you can bring your own tent, sleeping bag and outdoor mattress. If accommodation exceptions are needed, please notify us in advance. This will result in additional cost.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included. Any other food from café, kiosk or grill is at your own cost. Allergies and food intolerances can be accommodated for, but please notify us in advance.
Fly into Gardermoen airport in Oslo, Norway (OSL) or to Oslo Torp as early as possible on 15 July. Take the train from OSL or Torp to Larvik, Norway. OM Personnel will meet you there and transport you to Stavern, the camp location. Depart from Larvik on the train to the airport 22 July, no earlier than 9:00 a.m., if possible. When booking your flights, remember you will need to take the train to the airport. The train ride to Oslo Torp (TRF) is one hour; to Oslo Gardermoen is two hours.

Be in good health and able to sleep on the floor or ground. Expect to be physically active throughout the day.
Some people do not need a visa to visit Norway because they hold a passport from a country that Norway has a visa exemption agreement with. This also applies if you have a residence permit in an EU/EEA country or if you have a special passport. Early arrivals will need to arrange their own accommodation in Larvik at an additional expense. One suggestion is the Quality Hotel Grand Farris which is directly across from the train station where you will arrive in Larvik.
