One of the main focuses of this outreach is a massive distribution of gospels in peoples' letter boxes: we will literally be taking the Gospel directly to hundreds of people who have not yet discovered it! We will also be distributing flyers for events at the end of the week, including a professional quality mime event.
If one word could describe your profile, it would be HUMBLE, see participants profile Philippians 2:5-8. Are ready to serve your Maker in whatever way He requires of you? We are looking for participants with a servant-heart, ready to be taught by and used by God during this project. You need to be prepared to work as a part of a team. Your team will likely be multi-cultural, so you should be ready to adapt, and accept differences in others. English and French will be the team languages — participants should have conversation skills in at least one of the two.
Participants may sleep in church members' homes, in the church or even in tents on the church grounds! You may need to bring a mattress and pillow, further details will be given nearer the time.
Meals will be in hosts' homes and/or the church. You may need to help with meal preparation and clean-up.
You need to arrange your own travel to and from the outreach either by car, or by train (to Paris, then taking the RER commuter train to the Savigny le Temple station). Plan to arrive in Savigny-le-Temple between 2pm and 5pm on 13 April. You should plan your departure for after 1pm on Sunday, 21 April.
We can arrange collection from the station, but you will need to send your arrival time in advance, or call on arrival if you wish to be collected.
Please See "Travel".
