International Opportunities
With full-time missionaries in more than 110 countries, OM offers mission experiences in a wide variety of locations. Looking for something adventurous? How about a remote village in a Central Asian country that some of your friends probably haven’t even heard of? Or trekking through New Zealand, Nepal or Chile? There are opportunities to be involved in Muslim ministry in the Middle East, play with orphans in South Africa, explain Christmas in Japan, and much more. Find your place in the world to show God’s love and represent Jesus to those who don’t know Him.
Specialized Trips
God has created us for good works. What has He created in you? Are you talented in sports? Visual Arts? Dance? Music? Do you have medical skills? Explore the many options in these areas.
Ships
This is not your ordinary missions experience! Live on a ship with 300 other missionaries from around the world, sail port to port, be part of evangelism and encouraging the local church. In some places, crowds line up for a mile or more, waiting in line for hours to visit the ship! Each ship's onboard multicultural community is a great picture of the unity of the Body of Christ, and in some countries, that speaks volumes. While in port, that community serves through operating a big, onboard book shop where the public can find Christian and educational books. The crew also present programs and conferences for local Christians, youth and pastors, as well as evangelistic programs. Finally, teams from the ship spread out through the community in evangelism and practical service. There's a lot of activity when an OM ship comes to town! Get on board and join the action!
