Integrative Child and Youth Worker

Do you like to work with children and youths? Do you want to share God’s love in a very practical way? The “iPunkt” is a a socio-educational project, mainly among families and children from a migration background. Do you have an interest to develop this work further together with the other iPunkt workers?

Requirements

Our Offer
• Various tasks in the area of integrative child and youth work
• Pleasant working atmosphere in a committed and dynamic team
• Get insight and be part of God's work worldwide and networking with local projects and churches
• Teamwork, but personal responsibility when performing task
• Outreach and training opportunities inside and outside of OM
• Flexible weekly working hours by appointment (for this position: 25 hours; in combination with own church planting project up to 40 hours)
Your Tasks
• Tutoring children (ages 6-10) with schoolwork and supervising play times
• Building relationships (possibly visiting ministry)
• Starting and running groups for teenagers
• Active involvement with children and youth ministry of local church
Your Profile
• Intimate relationship with Jesus
• Church that approves of and supports your ministry
• Team, communication and conflict skills  (adequate level of German with willingness to learn more and English)
• Openness to invest in an intercultural ministry and build up relationships with the children
• Flexible and independent working
• Serving attitude
• Pedagogical or social training is an advantage
• Willingness for further education
