Broken Bosnia in our hands...

OM International

On the very first day of the camp, I noticed a big painting: a broken map of Bosnia-Herzegovina on open hands. I thought this was a picture of Bosnia on God´s healing hands.

But then one of the leaders of the camp talked about just that picture and said, "These hands are not God´s hands. These are our hands: scratched, toughened through hardships, gone through problems and pains. We need to keep our country on our hands in prayer. We need to constantly lift it up to God´s throne, carry it out of the darkness and hopelessness into the future with God. Bosnia-Herzegovina needs prayer (...) who would stand on the wall for their country and people. Bosnia needs people who are willing to go and share the message of hope with the others. Can God use your hands for that?"

And I thought to myself, how easy it is to pray that God would heal, help, care... But if He wants to use my hands in the process, would I let Him?
